Garden Art

These creatures will bring a happy smile to your garden or boat dock. They're designed to be used outdoors where the weather will continue to develop their wonderful patina. If you like the look of them just the way they are and want them to stay that way, you can simply spray them with clear polyurethane.

These animals are equally happy indoors in a country kitchen or a weekend cabin. The fish are especially effective when grouped together into a school. I've sold as many as 9 of these to a single person. They make great gifts for fishermen and gardeners.

These fish are made from old roofing tin. Most already have a wonderful patina and, if they hang outdoors, the patinia will continue to develop. Sizes vary from small fry that are less than a foot long up to big boys that are a couple feet. They come in many different shapes and colors and look fabulous displayed as a school on a wall or fence.

I made a limited number of these copper fish from a large piece of scrap I was able to purchase. This guy is quite small - about 6 inches. Some were as long as a foot. I sometimes am able to get small amounts of this very expensive material, so please email me if you're interested.

Like the tin fish, roosters and chickens are made from old roofing tin. I put spikes on the bottoms of their feet so they can stand in the garden. Every garden needs at least a couple to keep the bugs away!

Bird Houses

It has been about 15 years since I last made bird houses but decided recently to bring them back. These houses are one-of-a-kind. Large houses are suitable for bluebirds - smaller houses useful for wrens. All are designed so they can be cleaned out after use. However, many people choose to use them as decorative accents inside their homes. Select any image to view at a larger size.
